Other Information We Collect About You
Some information may be collected automatically every time you visit our Web site. This information is described below.

Cookies and other Web technologies
When you access our Web site as a Member or visitor, we may collect information about your computer and assign you a "cookie" (a small, unique identifier text file). You do not provide this information -- it is collected automatically as a means of supporting your use of our Web site. The cookie assigned may be a "session" cookie file (deleted at the end of the session) or permanent cookie file on your computer's hard drive. The cookie may or may not contain any personal information. You can always choose to not receive a cookie file by enabling your web browser to refuse cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie. Be advised that, by refusing to accept a cookie, you may not be able to access some services offered by us on our Web site.

A cookie file may also be placed on your hard drive by a third-party advertising company, which may be used to aggregate statistics about your visits to this Web site and other web sites. The company may also employ technology that is used to measure the effectiveness of ads. This is primarily accomplished through the use of an action tag (also known as an invisible gif), which the third party places on our Web site to collect anonymous information. They may use this anonymous information about your visits to this Web site and other sites in order to provide advertisements about products and services of potential interest to you.

Additionally, you may encounter "cookies" or other similar devices on certain pages of our Web site that are placed there by third parties. For example, if you view a web page that has content created by a Member of Visitorconnection.com, there may be a "cookie" placed within that content. We do not control the use of cookies by third parties.

If you use a web site providing a service for us or a web site that helps facilitate your activity on our Web site, that web site may provide personal information about you and your transactions back to us. Similarly, web sites that we partner with may also provide personal information about you back to us.

This Privacy Statement covers the use of cookies and other technology by us with respect to our Web site only and does not cover the use of cookies and other technology by any Members of Visitorconnection.com, advertisers or other third parties. For more information about the privacy practices of Members, advertisers and third parties, please review the privacy policy for the Members, advertisers or third parties.

Sharing of Your Information
Visitorconnection.com reserves the right to sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Corporate affiliates
We may share your personal information among our subsidiary, parent, and affiliated organizations, but they will use the information for internal purposes only. It is possible that we, our subsidiaries, affiliates, joint ventures, or any combination of these, could merge with or be acquired by another business entity. This information is not, however, collected or retained by us. Instead, our affiliate web sites that actually process the reservation for accommodations collect it. As a result, our Privacy Statement does not apply to such information.

Other Sharing of Information
We may occasionally share aggregated information with our Members and service providers. This information does not contain any personal information and is used to develop featured programs and content that will be of interest to our Members and Web site visitors.

Our Legal Obligations
We may be required by law or legal process to disclose personal information and other information you have provided us in your use of our Web site or related services. We may also disclose information to enforce the Terms of Use, as well as against someone who poses a threat to our interests (such as customer fraud) or whose activities could bring harm to others. As a result, we may, in our discretion, disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that is illegal or may expose you or us to legal liability. Some of these rights to disclose information are further described in the Terms of Use.

Other Web Sites
There are several places throughout our Web site that may link you to other web sites that do not operate under our information privacy practices. When you click through to these web sites, our information privacy practices no longer apply, and we are not responsible for use or disclosure of information obtained from you through such web sites. We recommend that you examine the privacy statements for all third party web sites to understand their procedures for collecting, using, and disclosing your information.

Other Disclosures
We cannot ensure that all of your private communications and personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Statement. By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or they may abuse or misuse your personal information that they collect from our Web site. Therefore, although we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private.
